The museum is the true reconstruction of all the stages in the life of Cuban Rum, from the sugar-cane plantations to the palate.

The tour is conducted in Spanish, English, French, Italian and German, and starts in the Cooperage where the white oak barrels are formed. In the video room you will learn the importance of sugar and Cuban Rum in the Cuban culture. The tour continues in the sugar cane gallery exhibiting the sugar-mills used in the colonial period and also a small locomotive from 1902. Further on a full scale model reproduces, in detail, a sugar Production Centre. Later you will see the elaborate process of the Rum going through distillation, filtration, fermentation, aging and blending processes.

Once in the tasting bar, you will be able to experience the unique flavor of this Rum yourself ! Its quality is endorsed by winning important International prizes in the spirits world.
